The National Domestic Abuse Hotline:

When I was going through a difficult time, I turned to this website weekly for advice, help, and support. The National Domestic Abuse Hotline is amazing for many reasons. I used this site to get support so much because not only do they have phone support, they also have live chat services where you can talk to someone and get help. I used to call their hotline a lot when I needed someone to just listen to me. It helped me in ways I can never explain. All the representatives that work there are super sweet and ready to help and give you all the support you need. I called multiple times a week, and every time I called and hung up the phone I felt so much better. If you’re someone who doesn’t enjoy talking on the phone, the online chat services is also really good. I used the chat services one time when I had a panic attack at work (since I couldn’t talk on the phone). The chat really truly helped me and is another really good source for support and help.

Love Is Respect

This is a great website for those who need advice about how to talk to a friend who you might think is an abuser. This helpful guide walks you through what you should do if you think your friend is hurting someone they care about. I really like this website because it has the chat online feature which makes it easy to get advice and help in a moment of trouble.
